There are many Masonic organizations, and this web site’s main purpose is to bring together the four main Masonic organizations. The web site will be used to promote better communication among existing Masonic Brothers and the Masonic organizations they presently belong. It's intent is to also bring a new interest in the craft in general. The forum is the heart and soul of the web site and has many forums which a brother can post there own threads which may be of Masonic subjects of general interest or may be a meeting or Masonic social function which also may be posted by any registered brother in any one of the separate forum areas.
There are four main Masonic organizations covered in this web site the first of which is referred to as Blue Lodge or Masonic Lodge. The next is the York Rite which is paralleled by Scottish Rite. Then there is finally The Shrine which includes all of the various Units and Shrine Clubs associated with in the Shrine. It also includes within these forums different sections which are made to support the diversity that are contained within humanity.
This web site is specifically designed to serve the regions of Suffolk, Middlesex and Essex County of North Eastern Massachusetts. That does not mean that your lodge can not be listed just because your lodge does not fall within the coverage area of the web site - the web site does support this and has a area set aside for even that in the forum which has the title - Other Blue Lodges where ever they maybe - and upon request from a member of your lodge the lodge maybe listed in that area.
One of the main purposes for creating this web site is to collect, and make available to Masons and the public alike, a collection of all the open Masonic social events planned in the Northeastern Massachusetts area. This allows for any personal questions one might have which are not contained in this site to be answered. And a great way for non Masons to find out about The Masons in general and Active Masons to find out what is happening around them not only in there own lodge but in all the lodges in the districts that the web sites covers.
