Uniting the Freemasons of Massachusetts

This website has been developed and maintained for the sole purpose of uniting the Massachusetts Freemasons with other Masons around the world and all of the appellate bodies and other Masonic organizations. This also includes The traditional well known York Rite, Scottish Rite and Shriner Masons which are your more common traditional Masonic organizations. The site has also included some special masonic groups like the local shrine clubs and shrine units that may not be so well known.

The site also supports a special section for the Masonic Youth Organizations like DeMolay for boys 12 to 21 and soon coming is Rainbow for the girls ages 11 and 20.

For women there is a special section that includes the Eastern Star which is for both women and men that are Freemasons. There is even a special section for other Masonic organization like the shriner HONS.

This is a great resource to find out what masonry is about and is being updated constantly by its members posting in the blogs and forums. There are even user groups that are maintained by its members that are both private and public as well as photo galleries likewise being maintained by registered and approved members of the site.

We are always looking to extend our brotherhood throughout the world to those who are interested to join us. In many parts of the world one needs to still ask or make an effort or make some proper inquiry first. Locate a person that you know to be a free mason and ask him about joining.

There are only a few requirements to join. First is you have to believe in a supreme being, second is to be a man of good moral character, and third have a brother you know sponsor you in a local lodge. In Massachusetts it has been for some time now that a brother can in some cases do a limited amount of passive recruitment to a non-mason and even lodges have been allowed to open their doors to the public at least twice a year for the purpose of having an open house.
